Since we initially became involved with the Shorthorn breed through our junior show programs, we have always enjoyed the showring aspect of the Shorthorn breed. There’s just something about those fancy red-neck roan females that can get a person hooked! We enjoy promoting our cattle and the Shorthorn breed at a variety of open shows across the nation each year. We also actively participate in the American Shorthorn Associations PACE Show Program that recognizes the most winningest cattle at the ASA approved point shows each year. Over the past few years we have raised the ASA’s Show Heifer of the Year, Super Cow of the Year, and the Reserve Show Bull of the Year. Every year, we exhibit our Shorthorn cattle at Denver, Louisville, Kansas City, Fort Worth and several state fairs each summer. We also enjoy watching our clients compete in both open shows and junior shows. These animals are currently in our showstring at V8 Shorthorns.
