The Beverly cow family is one of our most consistent and predictable female lines at V8. This heifer will show and the develop into a great donor. Her 3/4 sister Miss V8 Beverly Hills, owned with Scott Family Shorthorns, has been a class and division winner all summer and fall. You'll love this heifer when she grows into a cow!

We have cattle for sale by private treaty year round at the ranch! We are always happy to show visitors who are interested in Shorthorn cattle around the ranch. Please give us a call or e-mail us for information on current availability. Typical examples of cattle for sale at the ranch include:

• Show Heifer and Show Steer Prospects: Our show heifer and show steer prospects start at $2,000 and up. We have both spring born and fall born calves for sale and these are sold on private treaty on a first-come, first-serve basis. We enjoy working with junior exhibitors and gladly accept Scramble Certificates.
  
• Breeding Age Bulls: Many commercial cattleman chose Shorthorn bulls because of their carcass qualities, gentle dispositions, fertility and calving ease. Also, many breeders enjoy the uniformity offered by solid red Shorthorn bulls and the convenience traits offered by polled Shorthorns. Since our bulls are used to the warn climates of south Texas, many of our southern customers have been pleased with the adaptability of our bulls.

We also market many of our top show prospects and bred heifers in the annual Lone Star Edition Sale hosted by WHR Shorthorns in Van Alstyne. This sale is held at the end of March each year.

We have 50+ American Shorthorn Herd Books available for purchase. Most of these books are in excellent or good condition. These books are a very important part of Shorthorn history, containing the animals registered for their respective year. These books are dated as far back as 1904. Now is the time to start your own collection!
